PC vs. MAC

Arguably the biggest debate in the electronic world today is PC vs MAC. Now of course both have taken turns outshining one another and both have made their mark in technological history. But as of today which reigns supreme?  MAC uses say their product is better because there are no viruses, better customer service, and the software is easier to manage. PC users on the other hand argue that there is more freedom when using a PC and PC's are much cheaper to their MAC counter parts.

Now that I have personally tested both, I'm gonna have to go with the PC. Here are my reasons why:

1. Windows 7 has more features than the MAC OS such as Blu-ray. Until Apple comes out with better software, Windows 7 has proven to be the most convenient operating system for the average computer user today.

2. Macs still end up getting viruses too and the rate of viruses on macs will increase as more users use Macs. And as for viruses on the PC, isn't that what for programs like Norton and AVG is for?

3. Dollar for Dollar the PC is better. I just bought a 1200 dollar Sony VAIO and when I compared its specs to the 2400 $ 17-inch Macbook Pro, I see that the VAIO was actually better in some categories such as RPM speed and memory capacity. I also saw that the Macbook Pro was missing out on some features (such as Blu-ray and usb 3.0) that the VAIO had.

So as of today, PC's rule. But we'll see in the future if Apple really has what it takes to be #1 in computers.
